With every stroke of the brush, I aim to capture emotions and tell stories through my artwork. My hope is that as you browse through my portfolio, you will be able to connect with my pieces and experience the same emotions that I felt when creating them.

Discovering Myself

Battling through identities of daughter, mother, housewife, working woman and lady, she forgets about herself. Internal thoughts are creating conflicting waves in search of her exis- tence. Her soul is searching for a purpose.

Reflecting through Reflection

39 X 50 Inch

Thoughts cloud her mind after she looks at her reflection. The realisation of what to perceive after flying through an emotion. She talks with herself with a little empathy, wondering who is in the reflection!

Cage of Curtain

39 X 50 Inch

Beauty and innocence hiding behind a cage of curtain (Pallu/Hijab). Shepherded by society to not think and live freely. Not expressing her thoughts prevents her from blossoming that inner beauty. Walking on the guided line is her only unengaged option.

Plethora of Emotions

A tender-aged girl is getting influenced by her peers. She is going through multiple emotions and is unsure which one to reflect on. The only way out is to hide her face in plainsight.

Expressing through Postures

A union of emotions and physical gestures are deeply rooted in her. Expressing her feel- ings through physical language. Different hand gesture presents a meditative emotional state, not caring about a particular substance

One Woman Army

Like a goddess, she possesses the ability to take on all the responsibilities designated to her without any boundaries. The chakras represent a positive aura she spreads around while processing her inner cleanliness.

Circle of life

An innocent infant’s mind is a ray of light filled with positive energy. Clouding that mind with societal pressure might easily lure it into darkness. It can obtain that positive energy again through spirituality and calmness to bring back that innocence.

Bubble

Like a bubble, a young girl imagines herself flying through the sky in a sea of possibilities, not knowing what will come ahead of her. What matters is to relish each moment and adore the beauty of life

Scent of love

Between the clutter of clouds, she feels romance through the fragrance of rain. She per- ceives the ability to fly on her own. Dove represents peace and freedom of realisation to fly high and be on her own, deepening the inner feeling of calmness.

Facade of Emotions

She is putting an act to hide her emotions using a facade. However, broadening the perspec- tive gives an idea of her raw state. But time and again, an act of different expression helps her fulfil her duties.

The Bird view

The necessity to break the monotony of routine life is realised through a bird’s perspective. Feathers in her head indicate the colourless and patriarchal life she is living, awayfrom the glitters of the world.

An Unborn Life

The right of birth and have an opportunity to prove her worth should be given to everyone. If we don’t let her spread her wings, she will not be able to fly.

The Confluence

Her goal is to create tranquillity and togetherness in the presence of chaos wherever she goes, like a confluence point where rivers meet the sea.

Restraining time

Holding onto her forgotten identity, finding different ways to keep it anchored whilst the time is fading away. Filled with anxiety, she is shattering herself in the process, not ready to let it go.

The Book of life

Deepening her consciousness by getting absorbed by the scriptures has no limitations. Get- ting lost in the world of verses, created is her only way to attain nirvana in the times of downfall.

Curbed Emotions

Getting suppressed by her surroundings, she is restricted not to feel her real emotions. A blanket of constraints is detaching her from the colourful world.
