About me

Biography

As somebody has rightly said, “Art is a necessity – an essential part of our en¬lightenment process. We, as a part of this civilized society, might not be able to regard ourselves as being enlightened, without the art.” Having said that, I painted my first artwork when I was almost 8 years old (study¬ing in grade II), but it never took on, as I didn’t get a chance to nurture my skills. Additionally, the matter of fact is, I didn’t even realize that I have it me. After completing my schooling, I pursued my graduation in science stream with majors in Chemistry as it was our family business. Nevertheless. I also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) because it was most trending during that time. After my studies, I got married and raised my kids being just another home maker, but never realized till then that there’s an artist in me.
One fine day in 2015, I made a painting by just visualizing a picture. Having real¬ized that everyone liked it. I started nurturing myself into it. It was then I pursued a Fine Art course in Ahmedabad and started making modern and commercial art. I have made more than 100 paintings by now in different mediums which includes art in the form of Oil Colour, Acrylic, Pastel, Water Colour, Graphite Charcoal, Poster Color, Soft Pastel, Colour Pencil, texture Paint, Coffee Paints etc. Acrylic being my favorite, is the maximum in numbers out of the lot. I would also like to mention that in each of the paintings in this collector’s edition, you will not only witness just an art, but my deep dive feelings which are visible in the outcome. After few months, I participated in World Heritage Contest in Champaner and Ahmedabad Heritage contest where we used to sit at a particular location for hours and paint live. However, the feathers came in the cap recently, when I was awarded with Gold and a Silver medal at a National Level Painting contest orga¬nized by Kshitij Art Foundation-Haryana. This collection is about every woman of the modern times who battles through daily hustles and forgets to see herself within. To me, reflecting upon yourself is as much necessary as anything else. Hiding your inner emotions could be harmful as it is very important to express your desires and do the tasks to fulfill them. I personally feel that every woman is capable to go beyond limits to prove her worth and feel free in this cruel world. All she needs is just a little push from her surroundings to get out from the cage of innocence. Last but not the least, I celebrate myself today as an Artist and the journey is on with the help and support of my family members, my guru Mr. Bipin Patel and all my friends.
